The most important design project in my life was a monument bench for my beloved mother. She meant everything to me, and I needed to honor this remarkable woman. This bench had to be meaningful, beautiful, and enduring. I had a vision and determination to make this memorial extraordinary in every way, but I needed someone who had the expertise and who cared as much about craftsmanship as I did about this memorial.
